Steve Kellogg was an active participant at Cambria Center for
the Arts and a regular with the Wednesday Irregulars, a weekly plein aire
painting group. The unstructured, fluid line work and
palette choices are deliberate, yet there is a sense of freedom and
celebration, without cloying technique or detail. A
naturally gifted artist with a scientific mind, Steve found joy in the unexpected
results of his work in both ceramics and paint. Please join us in honoring this wonderful
artist who was known to have said “Natural landscapes have always given me a
sense of wonder and a feeling of freedom.”
Beyond this fine painter’s
work (for sale), we will have offerings from other painters from our membership
as well as some three dimensional works. Jewelry and other small works can also
be found in our cabinets. Our Gallery weekly hours are Thursday & Friday
1-4 PM, and Saturday & Sunday 11-4 PM. We are located in the Old Grammar
School of Cambria, mid- way between East and West Village, at 1350 Main Street, Cambria.
Please come to see this
wonderful artist and our newest creations! Children welcome!
Exchange day: October 1,
10:00am – noon.
Show opens October 3 and
ends October 27.
